Perform

We’re always looking for talented folks to perform on our show. Are you a musician, comedian, writer, artist, acrobat, sword-swallower, clogger, goat breeder, moonshiner, pitmaster, quiltist, or train conductor? Contact us with some information about yourself and tell us how you’d be a good fit for the show.

Write

First of all, you can write an original toast for us to use in the show. We regularly ask for those submissions through our Facebook and twitter. In addition to that, we’d love to work more repeatable, audience-provided material into the show. Send us your segment ideas or any short, funny videos that fit in with the old-timey themes of the show. We’re curious as to what you might come up with.

The Steam Powered Hour is a not for profit endeavor. To keep it going we need sponsors and patrons. If you’re an individual or business that would like to offer New York’s hippest hootenanny some financial aid, please contact us and we’ll discuss how we might both benefit from partnering up.

Volunteer

If you dig what we’re doing and want to give us some hands-on help, there are a bunch of areas where we could use it. We need writers, graphic designers, videographers, video editors, and all kinds of other artsy techies to pull off the monthly shows and get them up on the web. In addition to that, we can also use some office help with booking, bookkeeping, fundraising, organization and promotional help. Want to be an intern? See any other ways that we need help?
